Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I believe I have black patches and acne on my forehead that I have been attempting to get rid of. I have been using Noxzema cream for around a month, and have not noticed any changes. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Pimple is due to hormonal changes. Please follow the suggestions listed below.

  1. Do not use hair oil or any sticky cream on the face.

  2. Avoid oily food, chocolates, and milk products.

  3. Avoid dust, and use sunscreen above 30 SPF (skin protection factor).

  4. Do not use any steroid creams.

  5. Continue treatment for at least one month.

  6. Facewash or soap is of little use.

  7. Do not touch acne, and avoid pressing it.

  8. Apply Clindamycin gel all over the face in the morning.

  9. Apply Adapalene gel over the acne at night.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.
