Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a skin condition on my arms and legs with dots. It looks like strawberry skin. I have tried many home remedies, which have not worked. I am very afraid of wearing sleeveless. Also, is there anything to remove my acne? I am not on any medication; I just had a child recently. After delivery, I have acne all over my face. Could you suggest any cream? Please help me and let me know how much time will it take to reduce this.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. It is keratosis pilaris. It is due to dryness, lack of skin hydration, and vitamin deficiency. I suggest you follow below instructions. Apply Cetaphil moisturizing lotion immediately after bath and two to three times daily for 20 days. Take Tablet Antoxid-HC once daily after breakfast for 30 days. Use Acnesol A nano gel (Adapalene 0.1% and Clindamycin 1%) at night for 15 days on acne lesions. Use Azac soap (Azelaic Acid 1.6%) for one month for the bath. Use photostable sunscreen daily at 9 am,12 pm and 3 pm for two months. Moisturize skin daily. Please attach a clinical picture of acne lesions on the face so we can guide you accordingly.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
