Patient's Query

Hello Doctor,

I am a 19 year old and my height is 5'1 feet.

I feel anxious at all times along with tightness in my head, an odd sensation in my chest. Mostly during any stressful condition, I feel depressed, and tensed, also experience shivering and numbness in my hands. I only take a tablet Pantop in the morning every day.

Kindly help me.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

Thank you for showing your trust in us.

I understand your concern and will guide you through it.

All the symptoms mentioned here point out to anxiety disorder. I suggest you follow the below-listed guidelines to deal with your condition.

    1. Exercise regularly for 30 - 45 minutes (can include usual walk).
    2. Spend 20 minutes daily for meditation (choose a comfortable position and sit while trying to concentrate on your normal breathing. Do not stop or force yourself to stop your thoughts. It will help you to relax and reduces head tightness).
    3. Consume a healthy home-cooked diet, and avoid junk foods.
    4. Drink enough water.
    5. Spend quality time with friends and family. Even if you are living away from your family try connecting virtually.
    6. Spend time on creative hobbies like reading good books, writing journals, painting, drawing, and learning new skills or language or any musical instruments.
    7. Get enough sleep seven to eight hours daily.
    8. Quit habits of consuming tobacco or alcohol or any substance abuse.\
    9. Be bold and confident.
    10. Live your life, do not just spend it.
    11. If you still have symptoms that persist after following the advice for four to six weeks, then starting medications for a short duration will help.

I hope I answered your concern.

      Thank you.
