Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 25-year-old boy. Since last 4 to 5 months sometimes sudden sharp chest pain is coming at different points and that comes only for 1 or 2 seconds only. And sometimes left arm is also paining but that also for a few seconds only. I have consulted an experienced cardiologist and done all necessary tests ECG, echo, cardio, doppler test, stress test, and lipid profile test. All reports came normal. For more confirmation, I want to show you my reports. Can you please check my reports and let me know what is the cause of this pain?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your tests are normal (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Pain is not due to heart. Other common cause of pain is anxiety and stress. For that do regular exercise, reduce weight if you are overweight, avoid any addiction if you are addicted to smoking, etc.

The Probable causes

The probable causes are stress, anxiety and musculoskeletal pain.

Treatment plan

If the pain is continuous take painkiller tablet Ibuprofen 400 mg at the time of pain.

Preventive measures

Avoid stress, do daily exercise such as brisk walk for 30 minutes at least.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
