Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 30-year-old and want to get pregnant, but my period date got delayed one week. Today again, I have a period. Currently, I am taking Folic acid and multivitamins. Please help.

Thanks.

Hi doctor,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It is important to note that irregular periods can occur for various reasons, including stress, hormonal imbalances, weight changes, and certain medical conditions. However, if you have been trying to conceive and your period is delayed or irregular, it is possible that you could be pregnant. You can take a home pregnancy test or schedule an appointment with your gynecologist for a blood test to confirm pregnancy. Additionally, it is recommended that you continue taking Folic acid and other multivitamins, as they are essential for a healthy pregnancy.

I hope this information will help.

Thanks.
