Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I really need your help. I had unprotected sex and then, within 12 hours, I had I-pill. After seven days, I started bleeding and the next month I did not get my periods and in the month end, I took Deviry 10 mg for five days and now it has been three days, my periods have not started. What should I do?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Since you have taken the emergency pill within 72 hours of intercourse there is no chance of pregnancy. Also, you say that you had withdrawal bleeding. So relax and do not worry. The delay could be because of hormonal changes due to the pill you have taken. There is nothing to worry about. However, if you have a doubt then get a urine pregnancy test done with early morning urine sample to ensure that you are not pregnant. Do get back to me with reports so that I can guide you further. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
