Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My parents got a health checkup done. I have attached their reports. My father is taking tablet Stamlo Beta and tablet Roseday 5 mg daily for a few years, and my mother is taking tablet Telista and tablet Thyronorm 50 mcg. Kindly confirm whether everything is fine in their reports.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern.

Sir, I have gone through the reports (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity), and everything is normal except slightly elevated bilirubin. This deviation is not that alarming to cause anything serious. So nothing to worry about. I advise you to follow a healthy lifestyle, avoid oily and spicy food, take more vegetables and fluids.

Would you please let me know if they have any symptoms?

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for the response.

My mother has elevated cholesterol, triglycerides, and low density lipoprotein. She is taking tablets for blood pressure and thyroid. Does she need any tablets for reducing cholesterol now?

Also, I hope the high bilirubin of both parents is not a cause of concern.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Your mother needs only blood pressure medicine as of now. Her cholesterol and triglycerides are slightly elevated. I would suggest her take a healthy diet and do regular exercise. Nothing else is required. Yes, her bilirubin is fine. I advise her to avoid oily and spicy food and take more green vegetables and fruits.

Would you please mention the name of the blood pressure medicine she is taking?

Regards.
