Hi doctor,
I am a 31-year-old man waiting for my divorce. I have been married for four years, and due to some unavoidable reasons, I had to decide on a divorce. Though since I filed for divorce, I have always felt that I am alone, worthless, and useless. I am not sure if this is paranoia or if I am in deep depression. I have lost interest in my job, work, and other priorities. I always think about my ex-wife. I am feeling deep guilt. I am on medications like Finpecia and Finestrate. Please let me know what I should do to get rid of this situation.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your question carefully and here is my suggestion.
The symptoms you mentioned are suggestive of depression, which is severe in grade. It is time to get proper treatment. Otherwise, it will affect your entire life and career. There are a few medications like SSRIs (selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors) that will help you in early recovery. Do exercises and make a proper routine. Life is precious. It is not your fault, so do not feel guilty. I would like to suggest you visit a psychiatrist as soon as possible.
Hope my answer helped you.
Please let me know about your psychiatrist visit.
Kind regards.
