Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My mother has been having head sways back and forth for a while, and she is not even aware of that when she does. She does not feel unbalanced or dizzy. Is it serious?

Please help.

Answered by Dr. Albana Greca

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The swaying of head could be due to hormonal changes or spondyloarthritis at her age. However, other serious issues related to the brain should be ruled out first. So I highly recommend consulting with a neurologist. I suggest her to hydrate well and have regular meals.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
