I cleaned my ear with an earbud and now I cannot hear.

Most likely, the wax was pushed further inside by the earbud, which might be blocking the ear canal and the eardrum, causing your hearing loss. I suggest using Dewax or wax-dissolving ear drops, three to four drops daily, three to four times a day in the affected ear. The drops will soften the wax, making it easier to remove with suction or a probe. There is a small chance that the eardrum could have been ruptured by the earbud, but this would usually cause severe pain, which you are not experiencing.
