Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

At which time of a woman's menstrual cycle is there a minimum chance of getting pregnant? Kindly give your opinion.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The lowest fertility is day one of the menstrual cycle (during her menstrual bleeding) to day seven and again from day 21 to day 28 (end of the cycle before her menstrual bleeding). Both these sets of dates are the period of lowest fertility in a woman with a regular 28 days cycle. So basically, the first week and the last week of her menstrual cycle. I hope this was helpful.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you.

So three days before she has her menstrual bleeding, is it high or low fertility? Kindly give your opinion.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Around three days before her menstrual bleeding is low fertility. Days between 10 to 15 days of her cycle are high fertility windows. It only means to say the chances of pregnancy are higher during those days. I hope this was helpful.
