Patient's Query

Showing symptoms of UTI, frequent urination, fever, blood in urine, pain in lower back area for the past two days.

Thanks for your query. You do seem to have symptpms of infection related to genitourinary tract. Before we start any treatment, iy would be advisable to do some testing. Adv Investigations 1. Urine- Urine routine examination, Urine culture & sensitivity 2. Blood- CBC, ESR, CRP, LDH, Serum calcium, phosphate, oxalates. Serum creatinine, eGFR, uric acid, AST, ALT. 3. Radiological- CT scan abdomen and pelvis 4. ECG 12-lead In the meanwhile, please take the following medicines and supplements Rx 1.T. Dicyclomine 10mg 1-2 tablet SOS (with urinary related pain) with a maximum of 60mg daily (i.e., 20mg thrice daily), tablets taken after food for upto 3 days. (you may use any reputed brand available locally) 2. T. Tylenol (Acetaminophen 500mg) 1 caplet thrice daily for three days. Please revert immediately after giving urine samples for testing and receiving reports of urine routine, urine culture and sensitivity tests (usually takes 48-72 hours) and ECG (within a day report after test should be available, depends on the lab). Other tests can be continued and reports shared as available.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
