Hi doctor,
I am 29 years old. I have ring worm infection on my hips for past three days. I am using a cream but it did not help. I always wear a tight fit dress for work. Please help.

You may be suffering from fungal infection which commonly affects inner thighs, groin, and buttocks area. It can be treated by anti-fungal tablets and creams. Do not use soap over that area. Do not use steroid containing combination creams like Fourderm (Neomycin), Panderm (Ofloxacin), Quadriderm (Betamethasone, Neomycin, and Clotrimazole), Dermi5 (Gentamicin and Clotrimazole), Betnovate (Betamethasone), Dermikem OC (Neomycin and Miconazole), and Candid B (Clotrimazole and Beclomethasone) as it causes recurrence and side effects. Do not delay treatment as it spreads further on your body and to other people living in the household. Kindly send clear picture for diagnosis.
