Hi doctor,
I think I have been suffering from bipolar disorder. I am a 19-year-old diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and have been taking Zoloft 50 mg for about a year now. I feel down all of a sudden. It feels so intense, and I cannot calm myself down. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
You may have a major depressive disorder with mood swings due to menstruation, but you are less likely to have bipolar disorder. There is non-pharmacological management for it, and you should try to follow the below suggestions to deal with it. It will help you.
I suggest doing investigations such as complete blood count, thyroid profile, vitamin B12, and vitamin D3.
I hope that you get your answer.
Thank you.
