Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been suffering from severe hair fall. Earlier my hair was very thick and long, but now my scalp has started showing these changes due to dieting. What to do?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

It is important to understand that hair fall once started may take up to six months to one year for recovery. So, I suggest you avoid stress and anxiety. I also suggest you take a multivitamin tablet for three to four months. Also, apply Minoxidil (vasodilator) 5 % on the area of hair loss twice daily. I suggest you take a protein-rich diet.

Kindly consult a specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medicines with their consult.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
