Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am taking steroids for bodybuilding. I take the tablet Trenbolone 200 mg every week. I have attached my liver, cholesterol, and prolactin test reports. Please look at my bloodwork because my prolactin and estrogen levels are high. What can I take to balance them? I do not want to crash my estrogen and prolactin levels. So, how many tablets should I take? I heard that the tablet Arimidex is good for estrogen, and the tablet Cabergoline is good for prolactin.

Hello,

Welcome to ciliniq.com.

You appear to have slight hyperprolactinemia and hypercholesterolemia from the attached reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). The raised estrogen level will get corrected once you stop taking anabolic steroids. I suggest you can stop taking steroids, and your prolactin levels will return to normal. I suggest a low-fat diet and cardiovascular exercise regarding your raised cholesterol. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medications with their consent.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor for the reply,

I did a thyroid function test and noticed my total T3 levels were high. I wanted to know if I should be worried, I have been experiencing anxiety and nervousness, but I have not noticed any other symptoms. I was having intercourse recently, and I felt my heart flutter, so I stopped. Should I worry so much about my heart? I did not feel pain or any signs of a heart attack.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), and your symptoms are concerning. Although the levels are not so high and the TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is maintained in the normal range, you will experience such symptoms. I suggest you undergo an ECG (electrocardiogram) and take the cardiologist's opinion. In addition, I suggest you take the tablet Rosuvastatin 10 mg once daily at night to lower your cholesterol. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent. After your ECG, the cardiologist will likely start a beta-blocker for you to relieve your heart racing symptoms. Please rush to the emergency room as soon as possible if you have any cardiac problems. Please do not use steroids anymore.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
