Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 26 years old. My height is 163 cm, but I weigh 80 kg. How to lose weight? Kindly suggest.

Answered by Dr. Suneetha B S

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below:

1. Start your day with half a liter of warm water, followed by eight to ten soaked almonds and raisins. Never start your day with tea or coffee.

2. Do simple exercises like walking or aerobics. If you enjoy gym training, you can go for it. Some form of exercise is necessary. You have to do at least 45 minutes of simple exercises daily.

3. Eat healthy snacks such as a handful of peanuts, raw nuts or dry fruits, a bowl of sprouts, or any fruit between your meals.

4. Drink at least 3 liters of water daily.

5. Sleep and wake up at the same time every day.

6. Reduce the intake of oily food and sweets to just one piece a week.

7. Avoid sugary drinks and beverages.

8. Finish your last meal at least two hours before bed.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
