Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Recently, I have taken my aunt for a general check-up. Her blood reports showed high cholesterol levels. However, she has no signs or symptoms related to it. Is it possible to have high cholesterol levels without showing any symptoms? Also, can high cholesterol levels be reversed? Are there any other factors that can worsen her levels?

Kindly advise.

Answered by Dr. Sugreev Singh

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern. Kindly let me know how high are the cholesterol levels. Consumption of oily and fat foods can increase cholesterol levels in the body. A proper diet that includes green vegetables, less oil, and regular physical activity can lower the levels.

I hope this helps.

Kindly revert with the reports.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
