Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had my periods on 20th of the last month and yesterday I had sex but accidentally the condom broke. So, I took I-pill within two hours of having sex. And today also I had unprotected sex and after sex immediately took I-pill again approximately within one hour. Is there any chance that I will be pregnant? Right now we are not planning to have a child so I am worried. I had a normal cycle of 32 to 35 days. So I am expecting my this month period on 22nd. Could you please tell me that is there any chance to be pregnant?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There was no apparent need of taking the second I-pill. The first would have sufficed for next 72 hrs as well. However, now your withdrawal bleed should be expected in next 5 to 7 days following progesterone withdrawal and not on your due expected date. If you have a withdrawal, it would indicate that you are pregnancy safe.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
