Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 25 year old male. My teeth are not in perfect shape. What should I do? Should I go for braces? Please advise about all possible options.

Answered by Dr. Asma Parveen

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

By looking at the picture of your teeth (attachment removed to protect patient identity), you seem to be having spaced dentition with some malalignment. The best possible solution for this is to get the orthodontic treatment or braces done. This would be the permanent solution. One more treatment could be individual crowns on each teeth to close the gap which is not as time taking as braces but it requires cutting of the tooth structure. So, considering your age, the best and safest treatment is braces.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
