Hello doctor,
I am suffering from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Sometimes I feel like I am having stomach pain and when I go to pass stool, I feel incomplete. There is a bit of gas trouble as well. Can you suggest me a tablet that can ease the symptoms?

I do not have the reports now as it was more than five years back. The doctor then told me that there are no major findings and about food diet and gave me a few tablets for probably a month and fiber-rich powder.

Now, this is IBS only and IBS is of three types. Diarrhea-predominant, constipation-predominant, and mixed variety. I advise the following treatment of IBS.
A proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole and Rabeprazole, which will help in neutralizing any acid if you have in the stomach. You should avoid fat and pepper in diet and prefer to take a soft, bland diet. You can take smooth muscle relaxant like Mebeverine for stomach pain, in case you have. In refractory cases, drugs like Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium bromide can be used, if the condition is not responding. This is my best opinion for you based on the available details.
