Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 19-year-old girl. I have been sexually active since I was 15 and been masturbating also. I enjoy masturbation due to the feel of it. However, I have never orgasmed. I feel like I have tried everything and nothing works. If I simply play or use a toy on my clit I do not feel good but if I grind on a thing and tense up, it does but sometimes gets too intense or the feel goes. I often finish with my clit pulsating and it feels very uncomfortable. Is this normal? What can I do to solve this?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand what you are going through. It is seen in females orgasm through the clitoris is much higher than through vaginal penetration because clitoris (clit) has a number of nerve endings which are very much sensitive just like a penis. There is nothing abnormal if you feel better with masturbation that too with clit rubbing. The lack of proper orgasm at times through clit rubbing may be due to your stress, your apprehension about the act, and your doubts in mind if you will be able to enjoy or not. I would advise you to relax your mind before act or masturbation. Take a few deep breaths. You can also start deep breathing exercises daily. It will definitely help you. If it does not, let me know again.
