Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I was given Medroxyprogesterone. Today is my last day but I have not got my period. My doctor suggested PCOS. What shall I do next?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read and understood your problem. After taking Medroxyprogesterone, it may take up to 7 to 10 days for the period to occur after stopping it. So, you wait for a week. Oral contraceptives are a good choice for PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) if you are not trying to conceive.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
