Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am unable to eat chocolate, tea, coffee, sour items, citrus fruits, and sweet items. I get a migraine on the top of the head. I have pain in my head immediately after taking these food items. Can I have acid reflux on my head? Generally, acid reflux occurs in the stomach but I am getting pain on the top of my head after taking the above-mentioned food items. Do I need to take a tablet to resolve the problem? Please give me a solution.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The foods that trigger your headache cause migraine in you and they should not be taken. Migraine is a type of headache. Sometimes, patients have vomiting due to it. You should take medicines to get relief. Try to take them for a little longer time and do not stop it until you feel relieved. Avoid triggers that cause headaches.

The Probable causes

You have a headache due to citrus food, chocolates, sweets, bright lights, and stress.

Investigations to be done
