Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I felt a pop while weightlifting nine days ago. I am suffering from severe initial pain, immobility, stiffness, decreased movement, tenderness, pain to touch, extreme weakness, and muscle spasms. I am experiencing these symptoms over a week later also.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

There seems to be a muscle strain. You need to take the following tablets:

  1. Tablet Ibuprofen 400 milligrams twice a day for 10 days after food.
  2. Tablet Rabeprazole (Rabeprazole sodium IP) 20 milligrams twice a day for 10 days before food.
  3. Tablet Shelcal (Calcium and vitamin D3) 500 MG twice a day for 30 days before food.
  4. Tablet Vitamin D 60 k units once daily for 10 days, then once a month for 11 days.

Take this tablet only if you are not allergic to them. Do not take this tablet if you have bronchial asthma. Consult with a doctor and take the medicine with their consent. Thank you for consulting me. You can always come back and reach me at icliniq.com.

Probable diagnosis

Muscle strain

Preventive measures

Avoid going to the gym for one week. It should settle down in a week.

Regarding follow up

Sos if required after a week.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
