Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been experiencing nocturnal emissions (nightfall) for the past five years. In addition to experiencing nightfall, I have also been dealing with erectile dysfunction and semen loss. Furthermore, I am currently facing symptoms of body weakness, as well as stomach issues such as acidity and constipation. Also, I have taken homeopathic and herbal medication.

Despite numerous attempts, I have been unsuccessful in finding an effective treatment.

I kindly request your suggestions on how to address this issue.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Nocturnal emissions, commonly known as wet dreams or nightfall, are a normal occurrence. They can be triggered by increased erotic stimuli, whether mentally, physically, or visually, without engaging in sexual activity or masturbation. During this stage of life and at a particular age, testosterone production is typically high, resulting in the production of around 20,000 sperms per minute, leading to significant semen production. If not released through masturbation or sexual activity, it may occur naturally when you are in a deeply relaxed state during sleep.

Since you are aware of the cause, the treatment is easy. To reduce the frequency of erotic stimuli, you can consider the following measures:

  1. Limit the consumption of caffeinated beverages and foods in the late afternoon and evening, as caffeine can stimulate the brain and contribute to erotic dreams.
  2. Take a cold shower before bedtime to decrease excessive sensitivity in the genital region.
  3. Manage and control stress levels as stress can be a triggering factor for various issues, including nocturnal emissions. Maintaining a peaceful sleep by keeping stress in check is important.
  4. Avoid sleeping on your back or stomach, as these positions are known to increase the likelihood of sleep orgasms. Sleeping on your side may be a better option.
  5. Engage in regular exercise to promote relaxation in both the body and mind. Excessive tension, anxiety, and physical fatigue can contribute to sleep orgasms.
  6. Avoid watching or reading erotic content before bedtime, as it can stimulate both the body and mind, potentially leading to wet dreams during sleep.
  7. As for a temporary solution, I suggest using tablet Pari (paroxetine)10mg once a night for a duration of 15 days.

    Hope this helps you.

    Thankyou.
