Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have been having sores on my cheeks, gums, and on the muscles behind the molars towards the mouth. I was given Amoxicillin by a doctor but the problem keeps coming up. Can you please help with any medications to solve this problem once and for all, since it comes with a very offensive odor?
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I saw your query and will help you solve the issue. The soreness may be due to oral ulcers or abscesses. I need a clear intraoral picture so that I can confirm the diagnosis. I suggest avoiding hot and spicy food and smoking if you do. Also, avoid alcohol if you drink, and avoid rough brushing.
Eat a soft diet. Take Vitamin B and Vitamin C supplements. Take an orthopantomogram (OPG) and check for dental caries or periodontal problems. Check for diabetes because patients with diabetes will have more periodontal issues. Apply coconut oil to the sore and wait for three days. Then, consult me for further details.
I need an intra-oral picture to diagnose. Check if there are any disturbances, pain, discomforts, or an increase in size. Consult for further details.
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
