Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had anal sex with my partner. As it was too tight, I think blood vessels or something broke and my penis tip is yellow on the sides instead of pink. And when I touch it feels numb or not as my real skin, like there is something between my skin and nerves. I have an appointment after one month, but I wonder if anybody knows if this ever can get fixed or I have to be with it not feeling my penis tip every again?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Anal sex, especially unprotected intercourse, is one of the causes of sexually transmitted infections. From the description you gave, I think no need to worry it will not remain like this. It should be resolved as you said it was too tight and I think it is due to friction. Other point if this pain and discomfort or urethral discharge continued then you need to undergo sexually transmitted infection screening for diagnosis and treatment. Sexually transmitted infection screening includes a swab test for gonococcal and chlamydial infections. Blood test for syphilis, hepatitis B and C, and HIV. At the moment, I recommend no treatment. Please continue your follow up and update me about your condition.
