Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a problem with pinworms, but my parents do not believe I have them. I have taken two Albendazole tablets with one week gap, two doses with a one-day gap, and three Mebenda for three days straight, but I have stomach pain daily, and I am restless. They especially hurt or bite inside me at night. I feel them crawling daily, and right now, also two more from yesterday. I am starting to feel something inside my nose. Yesterday I was sitting, and something suddenly started moving in my nose after some time. I was very scared, so I washed my nose inside, and then it became routine, but today it happened again. I did not see but feel it, and now feel it very lightly.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

According to the query, you have not seen the worms, but you are just feeling them in the nose, so it may not be a pinworm. Also, Albendazole will not help if it is in the nose. I suggest you consult the nearest doctor and have a detailed examination. You need to do an investigation on the stool routine also. I hope that you get my point. Please let me know if you want some help.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
