Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I masturbate daily. I cannot have a hard erection and have lost penis sensitivity, and my sperms are very thin with a more watery consistency. This also happened a month ago, and currently, I am taking the Neurobin tablet.

What should I do?

Answered by Dr. Aditya Gupta

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Do not worry, there is a solution to your problem. First, I would like to mention that masturbation does not cause any weakness or sexual dysfunction; contrary to popular belief, it is the undue anxiety related to the myths that cause problems instead.

Though psychosexual causation seems more likely, I suggest the below-mentioned tests to rule out some systematic or organic causes.

  • FBS (fasting blood sugar).
  • Lipid profile.
  • Thyroid profile.

With these reports, consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take the medicines with their consent. Maintain a healthy lifestyle, take a diet rich in antioxidants, exercise regularly, and abstain from substance abuse.

Investigations to be done

FBS, Lipid profile, Thyroid profile.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

What should be done precaution-wise?

Should I reduce the frequency of masturbating?

Should I continue taking Neurobion tablets?

Answered by Dr. Aditya Gupta

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Masturbation has nothing to do with your problem. Instead of Neurobion (vitamins B1, B6, and B12) tablets, I suggest you take Neo (L-Carnitine, L-Tartarate, and Tocotrienol) tablets. Remain stress-free and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
