Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am three months pregnant. Today, I have used acid to clean the washroom. I got lot of cough after this. I am still feeling uneasy. Is this a serious issue? Will it affect my baby? Please guide.

Answered by Dr. Richa Agarwal

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Usually, acid fumes are harmful during pregnancy and affect baby also. In your case, coughing could be due to the acid effect. Get your ultrasound done to see fetal well-being, most likely everything will be fine.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
