Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I masturbate about eight to ten times a week, and now I am ejaculating within seconds. I am getting married in six months, and I am afraid I may ejaculate even before the sexual intercourse. Will this affect my fertility?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Premature ejaculation is diagnosed when you have premature ejaculation within one or two minutes of sex, continuously several times with the same partner for over six months. There is nothing called premature ejaculation during masturbation. Premature ejaculation occurs when a man ejaculates sooner during sexual intercourse than he or his partner would like. Premature ejaculation is a common problem due to psychological stress and anxiety in most people. I suggest sex therapy and sex counseling for you.

Thank you.
