Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been masturbating for six years and I stopped for a while and now I started again almost once a week but now I have premature ejaculation. I do not know why it is. Should I stop as it will get corrected on leaving?

Thank you.

Hi,

We are elated to have you on board at iclinq.com

We understand your concern and will help you get the best medical attention.

I can understand your symptom. There are many reasons for premature ejaculation. Some of them are,

  1. Stressful work or night duties or a twenty-four-hour job.
  2. Diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid issue affect premature ejaculation. Keeping the blood sugar, blood pressure, and thyroid hormones under control will help.
  3. Long-term medication related to hypertension and anti-psychiatric medications.
  4. Frequent masturbation or prone masturbation.
  5. Excess watching of sexual stuff.
  6. Receiving less foreplay from a partner or lack of knowledge regarding foreplay and female masturbation.
  7. Having an affair gives a guilty feeling.
  8. Lack of exercise or dealing with obesity.
  9. I would also recommend you to,

    1. Check FBS (fasting blood sugar) /PPBS (post-prandial blood sugar) levels to rule out diabetes.
    2. Check the blood pressure.
    3. Check free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), and TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) to rule out thyroid issues.
    4. You can also consult your doctor and start using the tablet Duralast (Dapoxetine) 30 mg as a temporary solution.

I have a few natural methods to overcome your symptom.

      1. Try to Increase the foreplay duration during sex. Women should receive 15 to 20 minutes of foreplay and men should receive 10 to 15 minutes of foreplay for a good blood supply to the penis for a long and hard erection. Foreplay should be in a relaxed manner. Your partner should learn to give foreplay in a way you do not ejaculate and enjoy.
      2. You can try relaxing music.
      3. Delay condoms can also help.
      4. At last, I would say that inserting the penis into the vagina is not everything in sex. Sex is not a race, duration does not mean your partner is happy. Love your partner, learn about female masturbation, and give your partner an orgasm.

        Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
