Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 32-year-old man. I have a problem with premature ejaculation, due to which I feel dissatisfied and depressed. I consulted the doctor regarding this issue. In a blood test, my testosterone level was found to be low. The doctor suggested me to take the tablet Tadalafil 10 mg and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor 10 mg. These medications helped increase my ejaculation time, so I took them for sometime, but now I have stopped taking these medications.

Please help me and suggest some remedies or medicines to relieve my problem.

Hi,

I appreciate you signing up on icliniq.com.

I am here to offer my professional insight into your medical issues.

Firstly, I would like to inform you that premature ejaculation is a very common issue among men. It is usually associated with anxiety and stress. However, disorders of the prostate gland and thyroid hormone can also cause this issue.

I suggest you to take medications as suggested by your doctor periodically, as it is a chronic problem. In addition, you can do exercises that can help increase ejaculation time. You can gain control over ejaculation by doing the exercises mentioned below,

  1. Contract the muscle that stops urination for a few seconds, then release it. Repeat this exercise several times daily.
  2. Another method is the stop-start technique, in which you will have to stop the sexual stimulation and activity and divert your mind when you feel that you might ejaculate. After some time, start the sexual stimulation again. With this method, over a few months, you will gradually increase your ejaculation time.
  3. I hope this has helped you.

Please follow up if you have more doubts.

    Thank you.
