Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a boy. My height is five feet and eight inches, but my weight is only 59 kilograms. I am very lean. I have also started gym. It has been months. I have not seen any major change in my health. I am not taking any protein supplements. But I need more than my present diet to support my workout. I am feeling weak. I am planning to take protein. Would like to take your suggestion.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I suggest you consider increasing the protein intake to 100 grams daily and see if that works. In addition, do weight training and not just aerobic exercises. Be sure that if you buy these health supplements, you buy the original and take extra care to be sure it is not fake, as many products in the market contain steroids and androgens.

Thank you.
