Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

For the past two days, I am suffering from a cold because of climatic change. I am having body ache and headache. I am a little lethargic. There are signs of a cough and running nose. I am taking cough syrup (Correch-LS).

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have a viral respiratory infection. For that, symptomatic management is done with a decongestant.Levocetirizine like decongestant can be taken for five days. Steam inhalation can be done for three times a day with warm water. Take Vitamin C tablet 500 mg twice a day for five days. If there is no improvement, then CBC (complete blood count) and ASO (antistreptolysin O) titer can be done. An antibiotic course can be taken for five days. Thank you and take care. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
