Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a female and have had an ulcer. Recently I started feeling severe pain in my lower stomach below the navel region and on my pubis, which goes on day and night. It feels worse when I eat or drink. I cannot sleep at night or day until I vomit all I have eaten. It also comes with serious headaches and swollen feet though the swelling is gone now. I noticed all these symptoms after a case of recurrent Bartholins gland cyst, but the cyst ruptured, and the abscess went. I was taking Cephalexin antibiotics and pain relievers by a doctor, but the lower stomach pain is and is still in discomfort. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It seems that some medical issue is also going on. It is better to have a consultation with a specialist. You should have transabdominal and transvaginal scans along with complete blood count, urea, creatinine, electrolytes, liver function tests, thyroid function test, serum amylase, urinalysis, and urine culture tests. Collect all the lab results and discuss them here and with the physician. Have a healthy diet with less salt, sugar, oil, and spices. Drink plenty of water, and eat fruits and vegetables. Have a daily walk and try to maintain a normal BMI and weight. Have recreational activities and try to quit recreational drugs if you have been taking them. Have better care for your physical and emotional well-being. Try to have short, frequent meals, soups, and juices. Avoid citrus completely, neither fruits nor any other citrus food ingredients. I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
