Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am having pancreas enzymes such as amylase and lipase at high levels. I am an alcoholic. I do not have abdomen pain, but I have little high cholesterol. Doctor advised me to stop the drink and maintain low fat diet. Will it reverse to normal if I stop drinking? I have stopped drinking alcohol since the past one month, but I am very anxious about the enzymes. Will they reverse to normal? I am also having high uric acid and gout. I am waiting for your valuable reply. I have attached my reports for your reference. Kindly advise.

Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am getting acid reflux and pain when burping and bending down or while laying down. I feel some pain from mouth to chest. What can I do? I ate non-veg in hotels for the past days.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
It looks that you have developed heavy acid reflux due to eating food outside. I would recommend the following in such case:
Eat soft and bland diet. Avoid spicy food, oily food, non-vegetarian food and milk for a few days.

Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
Will acid reflux make pain when lying down or bending? Shall I get an endoscopy?
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Yes, you can go for ultrasound and endoscopy if you did not get any relief in the next few days.
