Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have excess mucus and phlegm problem; sometimes, I also feel tired, unable to focus, have forgetfulness problems, and face swelling. I thought about allergic rhinitis and saw a pulmonologist in my hometown. She prescribed me Coekostle-A and Budamate-200. I have taken them. I felt fine for some time, but the problem persists. Can you guide me on what to do? Face swelling is related to allergy problems or kidney problems.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Get physically examined and investigated to rule out the medical problem and treat it accordingly. Have plenty of fluid and do diet modification. I suggest you do the following:

  1. Warm water saline gargle.
  2. Steam inhalation.
  3. Use masks and protective measures to protect from dust and pollution.
  4. Check blood pressure.
  5. Get a urine routine.
  6. Take B-complex once daily after meals unless otherwise contraindicated.

Facial swelling can be because of posture, obesity, or hypertension. It has an allergic component present. You may avoid dust pollution and pollutants and get the allergic test done, that is, some injections to get immune to those allergens. Continue with the same medicine. What is the color of phlegm?

Feel free to follow up anytime.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
