Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

For a throat infection, I took Azax 500 for three days, one tablet a day. Although there is an improvement, there is still a throat pain. Should I repeat the dose?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Please send me pictures of your throat, so that I can suggest you better.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have attached the files as requested by you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have seen the pictures (attachment removed to protect patient identity). You still have pharyngitis. You should continue with the antibiotic (Azithromycin) for another three days. Also, use hexedine gargles. Take a combination Diclofenac and Serratiopeptidase twice daily and tablet Vitamin C once daily. The above medicines will be available on prescription only. Take care.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

You have suggested that I continue with Azax 500 for another three days, besides taking the medicines suggested by you. Have I understood it right? Please confirm.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You got it right. Continue the antibiotics for another three days, and take the other tablets for five days. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards.
