Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am just now noticing these patches on my skin and would like your input. My skin does not itch but I have been noticing patches on my chest and it is all over my back.

Answered by Dr. Touseef Ansar

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

These patches are due to fungal activity. Let me suggest you some medicines. You should apply and give me feedback.

The Probable causes

Moist wet skin.

Investigations to be done

KOH (potassium hydroxide) scrapping and microscopy.

Probable diagnosis

Treatment plan

1. Wash with Ketoconazole lotion once daily. 2. Apply Terbinafine cream twice daily. 3. Take capsule Fluconazole 150 mg once only.
