Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had a black spot on my tooth for past three months and have toothaches every day that hurt so bad. Last year also happened, but no black spots were there, so I got a tooth crowned. This time I am using Oragel to ease the pain. Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Actually, it is a cavity with pulpitis (inflammation of the pulp) due to exposed pulp. I suggest you visit a dentist and get your root canal treatment done as soon as possible. And after consulting your dentist take the medication tablet Augmentin (Amoxicillin 250 mg and Potassium clavulanate 125 mg) 375 mg twice daily for five days.

Thank you.

Regards
