Hello doctor,
My front lower teeth have become extremely sensitive and I have very severe pain in them. The gums are not hurting but the tooth itself is hurting. How to relieve the pain?

Take a painkiller like Dolo 650 mg or Acenext-P (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) three times a day. Use warm salt water gargle twice a day for a week. Send a picture of the area if possible.

There might be some pain due to mild gum infection due to calculus deposits. Do you have any large cavity on any posterior tooth? Sometimes infection of other molar tooth can cause referred pain to front teeth also. You should also take capsule Amoxicillin 500 mg three times a day for a week.

Yes, I had a cavity earlier, it was filled in but the filling came off and it got infected again. It is a posterior tooth as you said. I have attached the photo of the cavity. Does this need immediate treatment as at this time going to a dentist is risky due to Coronavirus?

Yes, it might be due to infection of that tooth mainly. Take both the above medication as I said along with this take capsule Omez once daily for five days. Take all three medicines.
