Hello doctor,

I have had a fever for the last four days and have done a WIDAL test. The result showed TO antigen positive up to 1:160 and TH positive up to 1:80. My post-graduation exam is coming, and I do not want to get admitted in the hospital as the doctor diagnosed it as typhoid. So, kindly suggest some treatment.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I understand your concern.

Yes, you have typhoid, and it is not necessary to get admitted for it unless you have diarrhea, vomiting, and weakness. Please consult a doctor in person to start the treatment. Meanwhile, I would suggest the following:

  1. Drink a lot of fluid.
  2. Avoid spicy and oily food.
  3. Take rest.

Thank you.
