Can having sex on the seventh day of the period make a woman pregnant?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got my period after I stopped taking pills. We had sex on the 7th day of my period. Now this month I have not got my period yet. Why so?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I have gone through your case and I understand your concern. As you discontinued your pills so it may cause irregular periods due to hormonal changes. You should not stop the pill by yourself, you should always consult your gynecologist. Did you do a urine pregnancy test? Though there is very less chance of getting pregnant.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
