Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had unprotected sex with my partner during the fourth day of my period. I took Unwanted 72 after the intercourse. After taking it, I have immense body pain, especially in the lower abdomen. My periods bleeding is stopped. Is the pain normal? When can I expect my next periods?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

From day one to ten of the period, it is a safe period, and there are no chances of pregnancy. As there is no ovulation happening during this period, there are no chances of pregnancy. Also, you have taken the emergency pill within 72 hours of intercourse, so there is no chance of pregnancy. There can be a delay in periods for one or two cycles. The delay occurs due to hormonal changes which happen due to the pill that you have taken.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
