Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am feeling pain during urination, and I am passing more urine than usual as I am going to the washroom again and again. I feel a burning sensation in the vagina during urination, and I also see a little bit of bleeding during urination. I had intercourse with my partner last week and took a morning-after pill the next day. After that, we had intercourse again the next day and the following day. This urine problem I am experiencing following the last day of sexual intercourse.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
It may be a urinary tract infection (UTI) or a sexually transmitted infection (STI). Get a microscopic urine examination for pus cells done and send the test results so that the problem can be evaluated properly and treatment can be suggested appropriately. Whether it is a UTI or an STI, you need to get proper treatment immediately. If you do not take proper treatment now, it can lead to complications like infertility or a kidney infection.
