Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My boyfriend and I had rough sex. And a few hours, I got sore down there and it hurt. When I looked at my vagina, there was a kind of tear at the clitoris and the lips are sore and swollen.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

I request you to tell me if you are experiencing any bleeding as well. It will be helpful if you can share an image for a better assessment of your condition. Nevertheless based on your information I suggest the following:

  1. Follow excellent hygiene.

  2. Use vaginal wash to clean the area.

  3. Wear loose cotton underwear.

  4. Avoid intense exercise.

  5. Avoid intercourse for seven days.

  6. Use barrier contraceptives like condoms after seven days.

  7. Keep the area dry.

Feel free to ask any questions or to share any additional information.

    Thank you for consulting me.
