Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been suffering from fever and cold since yesterday. I have also had constipation from previous three days due to which I took a medicine yesterday night for motions but instead, I had total watery loose motions from the morning and it is causing weakness in my body. Fever is coming and going and the running nose is still there. Can you advise me if it is the normal viral?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms are typical for viral infection with both respiratory and gastrointestinal signs.

Get more rest. Drink plenty of water and fluids and oral rehydration salts to replace the lost electrolytes.

Take probiotics to stabilize the intestinal flora.

Take Tasectan or Pepto-Bismol for watery stools. Take fever and flu meds.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
