Hello doctor,
I am 38-year-old and I have a white beard only on the chin area but the other sides of the beard are black. Also, I have black hair. The beard in the chin area is turning white for the last three years and it is gradually increasing. I have a white beard only on the chin. I am not on any medications. Kindly help me.

Here are my answers,
I never tested serum ferritin levels. But as per my previous routine blood test, everything is normal. I do not have iron deficiency. I am taking multivitamins (Follihair) occasionally, containing iron.

The causes for white hair are smoking, stress, and intake of carbohydrates or sugary foods, nutritional deficiencies (iron or iodine or vitamin or protein), exposure to toxins or pollutants in water.
